THE ROLE
The Finance Assistant is a key member of the Finance department based in Beverly Hills, California. This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of the day-to-day and month-end activities of the Los Angeles and New York Offices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with client payment processing, including recording checks, bank deposits, and ensuring accurate entry into the artist database.
- Ensure clients are paid accurately by maintaining payment records and verifying transactions.
- Review and reconcile daily cash receipts and update the cash book accordingly.
- Assist with month-end procedures, including bank reconciliations, General ledger reconciliations, journal uploads, and Intercompany Reconciliations.
- Generate and monitor outstanding accounts receivable ledger, reporting aged debt.
- Review and monitor company credit card activity in Ramp software.
- Process and post all A/P invoices and staff reimbursements within the company's finance software, controlling the process through to the weekly payment run.
- Maintain and reconcile the client recharge list for company expenses.
- Collaborate with finance staff across the US and UK to support accounting operations.
- Work closely with stakeholders outside of the finance team, being the point of contact for queries.
- Ad hoc projects where your skill and input are required.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working in a similar role, such as Client Payment Processing, Accounts Payable Clerk, or general finance role.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Self-starter who thrives in an environment that requires initiative and the ability to drive improvements or change.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Easy-going with a can-do attitude, able to collaborate confidently with multiple personality types internally and externally.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills, with the willingness and ability to further develop proficiency.
- Experience with NetSuite, In-Entertainment, Ramp, or other finance database systems is desirable.
- Interest in the media or entertainment industry.
